Racing Incident Report
Race Six: (345) - WONG NAI CHUNG HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1200Meters
HAPPY WIN WIN began awkwardly, shifted in and bumped the hindquarters of EIGHTY EIGHTY which became unbalanced.
SEVEN HEAVENS shifted in at the start and bumped EAGLE.
WALDORF was awkwardly placed inside the heels of PLAY TO WIN shortly after the start when that horse shifted in.
LADY FIRST was steadied in the early stages to obtain cover.
From the outside barrier, HANDSOME REBEL was steadied in the early stages and shifted across behind runners.
SPEEDY VISION made the first turn near the 1000 Metres very wide and near the 900 Metres was steadied and shifted behind AMBITIOUS HEART to obtain a position closer to the rail.
After the 700 Metres, PLAY TO WIN was left racing wide and without cover.
Passing the 200 Metres, EIGHTY EIGHTY and EAGLE momentarily raced tight inside LADY FIRST which shifted to the inside of BIG FORTUNE to obtain clear running.
Passing the 100 Metres, AMBITIOUS HEART was bumped by SEVEN HEAVENS which got its head on the side and shifted in away from GAMECHANGERS.
A veterinary inspection of EAGLE and SPEED VISION immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
GAMECHANGERS and WALDORF were sent for sampling.

Post-time favourite Gamechangers just held off the late surge of Waldorf after dashing to the front approaching the 100m following a one-off run in midfield for an overdue win at his 16th start. Waldorf came on very well down the outside after a deep run with cover beyond midfield to make it close. Lady First finished nicely after switching to the inside for a clear run at the 200m following a patient ride third from the rear to pick up a placing. Early favourite Seven Heavens loomed a chance at the top of the straight following a prominent run but peaked on his run 100m out. The big weight anchored him. Ambitious Heart had to work early on to lead from a wide gate which cost him in the drive to the line. Newcomer Happy Win Win ran on all right from the rear of the field after jumping slowly. There might be something to work with going forward and he'll be better suited over the 1,400m or even a mile.
