Beauty Generation repelled the challenge of favourite Beat The Clock after assuming the lead at the 400m following a pace-stalking run to notch a second Group One success this term. Beat The Clock came forward to win the race at the 200m following a prominent run but found one just too smart in the end. He remains a force to be reckoned with over the 1,200m and 1,400m. Fifty Fifty stayed on well following a one-out, one-back run. He's proving to be a high-class horse but the mile appears to suit him better. Giant Treasure just held on for fourth following a midfield run. Beauty Only came on widest down the outside from the rear of the field. Badly-handicapped Pingwu Spark wasn't all that far away in the end after a handy run without cover from a tough gate.

Racing Incident Report

Race Nine: (455) - THE QUEEN'S SILVER JUBILEE CUP - Class G1 - 1400Meters

HELENE PARAGON was slow to begin.

As the start was effected, WESTERN EXPRESS lifted its front feet off the ground and consequently began only fairly.

From the outside barrier, BEAUTY ONLY was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

Passing the 200 Metres, SOUTHERN LEGEND raced tight between BEAUTY ONLY and HELENE PARAGON, both of which shifted ground.

Also passing the 200 Metres, BEAT THE CLOCK and BEAUTY GENERATION raced tight.

Near the 100 Metres, BEAUTY GENERATION again raced tight outside BEAT THE CLOCK which shifted out.

Throughout the race, PINGWU SPARK travelled wide and without cover.

After the race, it was noted that PINGWU SPARK had blood at its left nostril.

An endoscopic examination of PINGWU SPARK found no blood in the horse's trachea and accordingly PINGWU SPARK was deemed not to have bled.

A veterinary inspection of PENIAPHOBIA immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

BEAUTY GENERATION and BEAT THE CLOCK were sent for sampling.
