Racing Incident Report
Race Seven: (133) - THE PREMIER BOWL (HANDICAP) - Class G2 - 1200Meters
FABULOUS ONE shifted out at the start and bumped NOT LISTENIN'TOME.
LUCKY BUBBLES and MAGIC LEGEND bumped on jumping.
A short distance after the start, LUCKY BUBBLES was inconvenienced by MR STUNNING which shifted out.
From a wide barrier, AMAZING KIDS was steadied in the early stages and shifted across behind runners.
After racing wide in the early stages, MAGIC LEGEND was steadied after the 1100 Metres and shifted across behind runners to obtain cover.
After the 1000 Metres, DASHING FELLOW was bumped by NOT LISTENIN'TOME which, after being brushed by MR STUNNING, then shifted in away from that horse.
LUCKY BUBBLES was held up for a run in the early part of the Straight and passing the 400 Metres was shifted to the inside of DASHING FELLOW to obtain clear running.
Throughout the race, D B PIN travelled wide and without cover.
When questioned, J Moreira stated that after shifting THEWIZARDOFOZ across behind runners in the early stages, despite being ridden along, his mount got further out of its ground than he had hoped due to the quick tempo of the race.
He said the race in the middle stages continued to be run at a good tempo which resulted in THEWIZARDOFOZ always being off the bridle, however, the best part of the horse's race was over the concluding stages when it finished off the race quite well.
A veterinary inspection of THEWIZARDOFOZ immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

MR STUNNING and LUCKY BUBBLES were sent for sampling.

Mr Stunning defied a deep run in midfield to get up 50m out carrying top weight for an eighth win from 14 starts. He'll be a force to be reckoned with in the major sprints. Favourite Lucky Bubbles got home strongly for second despite being badly held up for a good part of the straight travelling behind midfield. He should have won with a clean trip and remains one to follow. Amazing Kids finished very well for a placing after travelling second from the rear. He's among the top sprinters in Hong Kong. Magic Legend closed well after travelling third from the rear to snatch fourth on the line. Specked late Fabulous One knocked up final 100m after dictating the run. He needs to strike weaker. D B Pin had excuses after a hard run. Plunged late Thewizardofoz never got going after travelling rearward from a wide gate. He was having his first run of the campaign but might be overrated coming off a Group Three win against lesser opposition in May.
