Recap by phillip woo
Punted late Je Pense came on nicely after travelling midfield to overhaul the pacesetting Cloud Nine 150m out for a second straight win despite a return to Class Four. He's put it all together towards the end of last season and looks like he has the tools to win another. Cloud Nine grudgingly gave way after clearing to the lead 1,450m. He'll come on for this run and can pick up a race soon at his preferred Valley track. Favourite Industrialist Way eventually got going following a prominent run to make it close for third carrying top weight. He's a winner waiting to happen at this level but consideration should be made to engage a claimer next time out. Proud Sky made a steady bid travelling fore of midfield on the fence to lose a placing in deep stretch. He's gone all right in two outings at this level this term but may require a stronger pilot. King Bountiful never ran on from the back but usually takes a few runs to find his feet and prefers Happy Valley.
