Recap by phillip woo
Hit A Home Run switched inside for a clear run at the 200m after getting badly held up at the 280m and finished strongly to get up in the shadows of the post under a light weight for a seventh career win. He's been a terrific servant for connections and might be able to produce another good run with fitness on his side despite a higher mark. Industrialist Way did look the winner when surging to the lead 100m out after a deep run with cover worse than midfield. He's consistent and should be winning shortly at a mile to 2,000m. Unique Happiest kept on gamely for a placing despite being forced to punch the breeze on the lead the entire way. He's always a pace chance and seems to be more effective over the 1,800m. Proud Sky dashed well after straightening two from the rear to fill the frame. It was a positive effort on the back of a winning run in July in Class Five and is better suited over a longer trip. Early favourite Everest didn't get the trip.
