Recap by phillip woo

Favourite Almighty Lightning sat midfield near the far side before hitting the front near the 100m and drawing clear in a good time for a smart debut win. He has a bright future. Punted late Run Run Sunrise ran on steadily through the centre for second travelling betting than midfield from gate 12. It was an improved effort. Fun Elite ran on late near the stands side for third after making his run fourth last from gate 13. It was his best effort from four starts this term on his return to the straight 1,000m. Master Lucky stuck on for fourth after a handy run in the centre of the track. He found it harder carrying 7lb more following a debut win. Leading Dragon gradually faded after tracking the speed from gate 11. It was a similar type of run and result to his first two starts.
