‘Narco pigeon’ arrested for smuggling weed into a Peruvian prison

Peruvian police have caught a pigeon smuggling more than 30 grams (1.05 ounces) of marijuana into the Huancayo prison. The “narco pigeon” was found with a bag tied around its neck while drinking from a puddle on the prison grounds. Peru’s Public Ministry has been notified and is set to investigate the origin of the drugs and the bird.
