Manhattan's 'last' public shooting range in 'anti-gun' New York

Darren Leung started running Westside Rifle and Pistol Range in New York City 20 some years ago and he is proud of it. “I believe we’re the last commercial range in Manhattan,” he said. Having served the New York metropolitan area for more than five decades, the business has catered to a variety of shooters. Leung hopes to provide an “oasis or haven” for legal gun owners where they can have a space with their like-minded enthusiasts. “I own a very difficult business in probably one of the most anti-gun cities in the world,” Leung said, “If I don't do it for my fellow shooters, who's going to do it for them?”
