The editor-in-chief of The Atlantic has published a report about apparently being accidentally added to a Signal group chat where top US officials were discussing upcoming battle plans. The article, published on March 24, 2025, shared screengrabs of text messages detailing forthcoming strikes on Houthi rebels in Yemen. Jeffrey Goldberg’s report in the magazine said the strikes happened about two hours after he saw the plans being shared on the chat.
