War-torn Yemen is losing the fight against famine

Yemen is on the brink of a great famine. Three and a half years into a war, the crisis is much bigger than any humanitarian aid professional has encountered in their working lives, warned Mark Lowcock, UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs at the United Nations Security Council on October 23, 2018.
