A recent knee injury has failed to keep Indonesian gymnast Rifda Irfanaluthfi from training ahead of the 2024 Paris Olympics. She is now on track to compete in the Summer Games and become Indonesia’s first Olympic gymnast. Rifda hopes her time in the spotlight will also draw greater attention to her sport from the public as well as the government, which she says has not supported gymnastics as much as other disciplines.
