A volcanic eruption on Bali has forced airlines from Australia, Hong Kong, India, Malaysia and Singapore to cancel flights to and from the Indonesian resort island. Mount Lewotobi Laki-Laki of Bali spewed a tower of ash on November 13, 2024, and there have been multiple eruptions in recent weeks that have killed at least nine people and injured 31 others. Indonesia’s disaster mitigation agency said more than 11,000 people have been evacuated.
