Hong Kong activist Joshua Wong has lost a bid to challenge his disqualification from last year’s district council elections.
The High Court on September 23 dismissed Wong’s application for a judicial review of his disqualification. Wong was the sole hopeful barred for political reasons after the vetting officer deemed he still advocated Hong Kong independence.
