Four people were killed in a landslide that hit a city in southwest China’s Sichuan province on Sunday afternoon. The landslide toppled several homes in the city of Luzhou at around 4.20pm on December 9, leaving 11 people buried under the debris and one missing. On December 10, the 11 people had all been pulled out from the debris, four of whom were confirmed dead. Electricians are busy fixing power transmission facilities damaged in the landslide, and the neighbouring communities of 4,000 people can expect to have their power restored soon.
