Over 900 residents displaced after landslide in southwest China, 34 confirmed dead

More than 900 residents have been displaced after a landslide buried a village in China’s southwestern Yunnan province on January 22, 2024. The death toll has since risen to 34, while 10 people remain unaccounted for, according to local officials.
