K-pop singer Lisa from megastar girl group Blackpink has been banned from China’s Weibo social media platform, prompting speculation among fans that the censorship was tied to a burlesque act she performed in Paris. Two Chinese actresses, Angelababy and Zhang Jiani, who reportedly attended Lisa’s show, have also been blocked from posting on Weibo and Douyin.
