Families of Japanese citizens believed to have been abducted by North Korea in the 1970s and 80s are still holding out hope for the return of their loved ones. North Korea’s late leader Kim Jong-il admitted spies from his country kidnapped 13 Japanese citizens between 1977 and 1983.
