Japan’s Seibu Railway has come up with an innovative hi-tech way to help tourists freely talk to information desk staff at one of the busiest stops in the capital Tokyo. An semi-transparent automated translation window at Seibu-Shinjuku railway station spells out words in Japanese and 11 other languages. The innovative display is proving useful as the country welcomes a resurgence in tourism after years of pandemic restrictions.
