Japanese fugitive on the run for 46 years pleads not guilty in Shibuya case

Masaaki Osaka has evaded police capture for 46 years after his role in the 1971 Shibuya riot incident. He was found and arrested in 2017, but in his first trial hearing on October 25, 2022, he pleaded not guilty. Osaka is accused of killing a 21-year-old officer during a rival gang clash on November 14, 1971.
