Paper offerings crafted to represent masks, sanitiser spray and thermometers were among the offerings being sold in Malaysia for the Ching Ming Festival which takes place on April 4, 2021. Also known as tomb-sweeping day, the annual event is when the nation’s Chinese communities burn paper offerings as a way to pay respects to deceased loved ones.
