A major explosion in China’s northern Hebei province has killed at least two people and left dozens injured. The incident happened on March 13, 2024, in Sanhe county of Langfang, where the force of the blast levelled a four-storey building in the town of Yanjiao. Authorities suspect a gas leak at a fried chicken restaurant led to the explosion, which destroyed building facades and cars and scattered glass across nearby streets. Dashcam video captured the moment of the blast as debris rained down on passersby.
