Condemned Vietnamese real estate tycoon Truong My Lan went on trial again on September 19, 2024, for additional fraud charges, state media reported. The chairwoman of real estate developer Van Thinh Phat Holdings Group was sentenced to death in April after being found guilty of masterminding what is believed to be Vietnam’s largest fraud case.
