South Korean film veterans call for thorough investigation of actor’s death

Following the reported suicide of Parasite actor Lee Sun-kyun, South Korean film veterans, such as directors Bong Joon-ho and Lee Won-tae, called for local authorities to provide transparency and a thorough investigation into the late actor’s death after he was interviewed three times by police in a drug case, the last time for 19 hours overnight. The veterans were supported by over 2,000 members of the Korean entertainment industry.
