North Korean leader Kim Jong-un reportedly plans to meet President Vladimir Putin in Russia later in September. The report by The New York Times, citing US and allied sources, said the rare meeting would take place in the Russian port city Vladivostok. It came as Russia seeks closer military ties with North Korea. Kim is expected to discuss the possibility of supplying weapons to Russia for its ongoing war in Ukraine.
