North Koreans celebrate 111th birthday of country’s founding father

Thousands of people gathered and danced at Kim Il-sung Square in the North Korean capital Pyongyang on April 15, 2023, to celebrate the 111th birthday of the nation’s founding father. The birthday of Kim Il-sung, who was known as the ‘Great Leader’, is considered the nation’s biggest holiday.
