Mount Everest has become the world’s highest garbage dump

Mount Everest is the world’s highest peak and attracts hundreds of climbers each year. At least 600 people have climbed the mountain this year - but on their way up to the summit, they’ve left behind large amounts of trash. Decades of commercial mountaineering have turned Everest into the world’s highest rubbish dump.
