Ukraine’s Zelensky made surprise appearance at Hiroshima G7 summit

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in the Japanese city of Hiroshima on May 20, 2023, where the G7 summit is being held. He said “peace will be closer” as a result of the meetings at the summit, where he is meeting leaders from G7 countries and partners on the sidelines.
