Mandarin Chinese to be taught across several Egypt high schools

The Egyptian Ministry of Education has launched a pilot project to teach Mandarin Chinese as a second language in 12 high schools. The project, in partnership with the Confucius Institute of Cairo, emerged from an agreement signed in September 2020 between China and Egypt to enhance bilateral cooperation in education and culture.
