China denies accusations of state-sponsored hacking from US, UK and New Zealand

China urged the US and Britain to stop politicising the issue of cybersecurity, slandering and smearing China and imposing unilateral sanctions on the country on March 26, 2024. US and British officials have filed charges, imposed sanctions and accused Beijing of a sweeping cyberespionage campaign that allegedly hit millions of people. New Zealand has also blamed Beijing for being behind a state-sponsored cyber hack that targeted its parliament in 2021.
