Nearly 200 delegates from Hong Kong have travelled to Beijing to take part in the annual meeting of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, China’s top political advisory body. Starry Lee Wai-king, leader of the Democratic Alliance for the Betterment and Progress of Hong Kong – the largest pro-Beijing political party in Hong Kong – is attending the CPPCC for the first time. Lee shared some of the ideas she wants to put forward at the CPPCC to make things easier for Hongkongers to travel and get things done in mainland China.
