Hungry elephant smashes down kitchen wall to pilfer food in southern Indian village

A CCTV footage captured a hungry elephant smashing down a kitchen wall to grab food in a village house in southern India on June 26, 2022. The homeowner said the elephant took away some oil cakes he had stored in the kitchen for his cows. The owner had to spend 9,500 rupees (US$120) to repair the damaged wall.
