Singapore’s cats to emerge from hiding with lifting of decades-old ban on felines in public housing

Singapore is set to lift a 34-year ban on cats in public housing estates. The scrapping of the rule, to take effect later in 2024, will be replaced with a “cat management” framework. The move is being welcomed by cat lovers, but some say the new regulations are still too harsh.
