Fight Club Thailand plays it safe, with no fighting experience required

In the Thai capital Bangkok, a city known for its highly-technical martial arts, Fight Club Thailand offers amateurs a stage to go all-out. “You don’t have to know how to fight. You just need to have heart”, according to the club’s co-founder, Chana Worasat. Unlike a traditional boxing match, there are no winners or losers and no gambling. Elbow strikes, grapples and blows to the back of the head are prohibited. Since the club was founded in 2016, the group’s Facebook page has drawn 73,000 followers.
