The Indonesian island of Sulawesi was struck by a major 7.5 magnitude earthquake on Friday, which brought down houses and triggered a tsunami. Waves up to three metres high (10ft) smashed into the city of Palu after the quake struck, collapsing buildings and washing a ship ashore.
