Hong Kong actor Philip Ng is playing Bruce Lee in upcoming biopic Birth of the Dragon, it will be heavily scrutinised by fans and the pressure must be heavy. But Ng is a veteran martial artists and an actor in 29 films, but what makes him uniquely qualified for the role is his knowledge of many of the techniques that Lee practiced, like Kung Fu, Tae Kwon Doe and Escrima. Ng also studied under Lee's Sifu Wong Shun-Leung, who would tell him stories about Lee, he said. From his set in LA, Ng recorded a two minute video to share his thoughts on recreating Bruce Lee's legacy on screen and what Lee did for the Asian image in popular culture.
