Top 10: What is the most unique name you have ever heard?
Last week, we asked our readers, “What is one dream that you woke up from wishing it was real?” Here’s what they had to say.
A China Eastern Airlines flight with 132 people on board crashed in a mountainous area in Guangxi region last week. Just after that tragedy, I had a dream that I took the same flight, but I reached my destination safely. If this dream was real, 132 lives would have been saved.

I had this dream of not having report cards anymore. There would still be tests and exams, but teachers would only inform students and their parents about the grades orally. Without that piece of paper, students would not go around comparing their performance with others, leading to stress among schoolmates. I would then have less fear of being laughed at in school!

Face off: Should all schools in Hong Kong abolish exams?
The pandemic was over. So people weren’t wearing masks, friends and families were having dinner together, and the streets and shopping malls were packed. This is a dream I had last month when there was an explosion of Covid-19 infections which forced the government to suspend schools and enforce more stringent social-distancing measures. I have always wanted the pandemic to end soon, but it won’t be happening any time soon. I hope that all eligible people would get vaccinated so that we could lead a normal life.

I received an acceptance letter to Hogwarts, the school of wizardry, along with Harry Potter, and both of us were selected to join Gryffindor. I wish this happened in real life because I would have had a magical time there with my favourite idol and all his wonderful friends.

I woke up from a dream in which I was still living with my late grandmother. If my grandma was still around, I would have been the happiest kid in the world. I would sit next to her, chat with her, and watch her favourite shows. She would make my favourite tea and buy me a lot of beautiful clothes. If my grandma was still alive, she would be 86 this year. But she has been away from me for a long time, the flat is empty, and I can only visit her grave.

I am a powerful magician. I live in the sky, and I fly around with my favourite pet. There is no homework, no teachers, no exams, but there is a monster which scares us all. Luckily, I defeat this horrible creature and become the leader of the land. I am about to attend a big ceremony that celebrates my victory, when I wake up to the sound of my alarm.

What’s the most rebellious thing you’ve ever done or want to do?
I had a dog when I was a child. I spent a lot of time with it because my parents were working and I was bored. I was very sad when my dog died. One day, I had a dream that it was still alive, and we were playing in the park. I was delighted, but when I woke up, I realised that it was just a dream. So I went back to sleep immediately. I miss my lovely dog so much.

My family and I went to a place where there were fertile fields, ponds and bamboo forests. There were no cars or housing estates there. We lived in a mansion with many rooms, which included a dance studio and a gym, and we kept a lot of pets. Unlike city life, everything was so peaceful there. There was no competition and no stress. I could do whatever I wanted to do every day and enjoy life. The place was full of laughter all the time. But it was just a dream.

I got a call from American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift saying she wanted to do a song with me. I was over the moon and did not know what to say. Suddenly, I was going on world tours, making guest appearances in concerts, and writing songs. But when I woke up and realised that it was just a dream, I was really disappointed. But dreams do come true.

With the pandemic causing cinemas to shut down, I recently dreamt that I was watching a film in a cinema. Our class teacher had taken us to watch an English movie as part of an assignment, and it was one of my favourite films, The Social Network. Looking back at the dream, it was pretty unrealistic.
