At least 82 killed in Iraq hospital fire sparked by oxygen tank explosion

At least 82 people died and 110 were injured in a catastrophic fire that broke out in the intensive care unit of a Baghdad hospital tending to severe coronavirus patients on April 24, 2021. Initial reports suggest the disaster was caused by an oxygen cylinder explosion in the ward. But family members of victims also blame deficiencies in the country’s medical system
