Trump emphasises hard-line China stance at Foxconn groundbreaking in Wisconsin

US President Donald Trump reaffirmed his “America First” agenda at the groundbreaking ceremony of Taiwan-based Foxconn’s new assembly plant in Wisconsin. He emphasised his hardline approach of imposing tariffs on foreign imports. However some US companies have planned to move production overseas due to retaliatory tariffs from US trade partners including China and the EU.
