Foxconn Technology Group is offering new incentives to lure back workers who fled its major iPhone factory in the central Chinese province of Henan between October 1 and November 10, 2022. But the factory’s labour shortage was due to two rounds of mass worker exodus, one in October over Covid-19 fears and another in November after the company reportedly backtracked on hiring incentives.
