China built 600,000 5G base stations from April to June, 2023. This means China has already reached its goal of having 2.9 million stations built by the end of 2023. The country’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) has said the rapid scale-up could be attributed to China’s efforts to boost economic growth and increase connectivity through advancements in technology.
