The world’s first mission to space with an all-civilian crew was launched on September 15, 2021. The SpaceX private flight is being led by a 38-year-old entrepreneur who bankrolled the entire trip. The four crew members lifted off from the Kennedy Space Centre in Cape Canaveral in the US state of Florida. They will spend three days in Earth's orbit before the Dragon capsule will re-enter Earth’s atmosphere for a soft water landing off the coast of Florida. It is the first time in 60 years of human space flight that only tourists and no professional astronauts have been on board.
