“The best part of my job is that I can play games, and it’s my job,” said Singaporean entrepreneur Tan Min Liang. The Razer CEO is adamant that he’s a hardcore gamer, just like his customers.
Established in 2005, Razer Inc. is a gaming hardware manufacturing company with its products include gaming laptops, gaming tablets, and PC peripherals such as mice, audio devices, keyboards and game pads.
The Hong Kong-listed company has received large investment from Hong Kong tycoon Li Ka-shing and Singapore’s Temasek Holdings. It has a market value of HK$15 billion (US$1.9 billion). Tan wants to grow Razer beyond a hardware maker to offer e-payments as well as software services.
