How traditional Chinese medicine is being used in the fight against Covid-19

Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) is being implemented by China as part of its Covid-19 response. Among various treatments based on TCM is Lianhua Qingwen, a capsule-based medicine originally developed in 2003 to treat severe acute respiratory syndrome, or Sars. Now, it is being used in Hong Kong and mainland China, handed out to local residents as a remedy for the coronavirus. But what is actually inside the capsules of Lianhua Qingwen and what does it do?
