Hong Kong should focus on technology, creativity and sustainability to find success in the coming 25 years, according to young executives who took part in a recent panel discussion at the University of Hong Kong Business School. Panellists were asked how the city can maintain its advantages and develop its role as a world city and international financial centre. Gigi Chow of Cheuk Nang Holdings, Adrian Cheng from New World Holdings, David Liao with HSBC Asia-Pacific, and Esquel Group’s Dee Poon formed the panel moderated by Victor Fung, Fung Group Chairman and former MTR chairman Frederick Ma. The Edward KY Chen Distinguished Lecture 2021 – Hong Kong's Next 25 Years: Challenges and Opportunities took place on November 22, 2021, at the university’s Loke Yew Hall.
