Hong Kong police ‘relatives’ call for inquiry into protest clashes

Demonstrators claiming to be family members of police officers gathered at Edinburgh Square in Hong Kong’s central district on August 25, 2019 in a rally attended by up to 400 people. The demonstrators called for an independent commission of inquiry into allegations of mismanagement and excessive force used by some police officers during anti-government protests that have rocked the city for the past three months.
