The first Hong Kong protester who was shot with a live round fired by police during 2019 anti-government protests was reportedly set to plead guilty to a rioting charge, which carries a maximum sentence of 10 years. The 19-year-old student, Tsang Chi-kin, appeared in a court on October 8, 2020, and his case was adjourned until December with his bail extended until his next court appearance.
