Unclear flying rules pose headwinds for Hong Kong’s drone enthusiasts

Recreational drone usage is on the rise in Hong Kong, but reckless flying of the devices pose a threat to passenger aircraft.

To ensure safe flights, the Hong Kong government is reviewing the regulations to keep pace with the latest technological developments. It launched a three-month public consultation process to update the existing drone laws in the city.
