Rachel Cheung’s Van Cliburn success shows Hong Kong musicians’ talent on world stage

Hong Kong-born pianist Rachel Cheung Wai-ching, a finalist and winner of the Audience Prize at the 2017 Van Cliburn Piano Competition, has faith in Hong Kong musicians and wants to bring music to the masses.

She is playing the second movement of Beethoven’s No.4 Piano Concerto which she performed in the final with the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra conducted by Leonard Slatkin.
