Labubu creator Kasing Lung shares the vision behind his unique plush toys

A quirky, rubber-coated plush character has become a favourite among young adults in Asia. Labubu was created by Hong Kong-born artist Kasing Lung. Speaking exclusively to the Post, Lung shared insights into his unique vision. His creation is seen as a soft power boost for Chinese contemporary culture. Lung is also the author of ‘The Monsters Trilogy’ which introduces the personalities behind the toys. Lung emphasised the importance of persistence in creativity and the significance of crafting artistic expressions.
