Pub patios and gyms reopen as Britain begins easing coronavirus restrictions

After spending months under Covid-19 lockdowns, people in the UK enjoyed more freedom of movement as coronavirus rules were eased on April 12, 2021. Many flocked to bars and pubs across Britain to order pints of beer consumed outdoors. Restaurants and bars with outdoor patios, as well as non-essential shops such as beauty salons and gyms were being allowed to reopen as the latest lockdown eased. But indoor venues such as museums, theatres and cinemas will remain closed.
